PERMETM TSY-W3/3 Electrolytic Detection Method Water Vapor Permeability Tester is applicable in the water vapor transmission property testing of plastic films, laminated films, high barrier materials, back sheets, sheets, building thermal insulation materials, waterproof membranes and packages such as bottles and pouches, as well as various high barrier materials in medical and pharmaceutical fields. The water vapor permeability rate testing can control and adjust the technical indexes of materials, so as to meet application demands.

Principle
Place the specimen between the dry and humid chambers. Owing to the humidity difference between the two sides of the specimen, saturated water vapor will transmit through specimen from the upper chamber to the lower chamber and then be carried to the sensor, and generate electrical signal at the same time. Through electronic signal analysis and calculation of the sensor, water vapor permeability rate and water vapor permeability coefficient can be obtained.
