On 19th May, the initial National Mourning Day, more than 60 staffs of Labthink gathered at the main gate, and held a brief but solemn mourning and donation ceremony. Within half an hour, all the staffs of Labthink donated 31,900 Yuan, This donation together with 30,000 Yuan donation from the company which add up to 61,900 Yuan will be sent to the special account set up for the Rescue and Assistance  of Wenchuan-quake Orphans by China Children and Teenagers’Fund(CCTF) to extend our care and consideration for the quake-stricken children who are in urgent need of help.

 

　　The sudden strong level 8.0 quake on May 12 maded thousands of our fellow citizens lost their families and homes. Help comes from all eight points of the compass for the one place in need. All the staffs of Labthink and all the Chinese people are all hoping to extend our profound love and care to those quake-stricken siblings in time of urgent need.

 

　　Among the tragic pictures of the quake-hit areas, the pure yet painful eyesight of the children is the most heartbreaking one. They have to endure injuries of their bodies, demolishing of their homes and losing of their relatives at the age that should have been happy and free. The most tragic shadow was shed in their golden childhood. In order to better help this most unaided and weak group, Labthink decides to donate the charity donations from the staffs and the company to the Special Account for the Rescue and Help of Wenchuan-quake Orphans set up by China Children and Teenagers’Fund (CCTF) so as to help the relevant institutions for the arrangments of present living, psychological counseling afterwards and the long-term fosterage and education issues for the quake-stricken children. Labthink, together with many kind-hearted people, holds the stricken sky up for those children, and build a whole new home and a world full of love for them.
