The 16th IAPRI World Conference on Packaging will be convened in June 8th to June 12,2008 in Thailand which organized by International Association of Packaging Research Institutes (IAPRI). According to the news from the organization committee, the article of "The application of DATA-CURVE-FITTING for flexible packaging permeability tests" which submitted by Labthink is selected to the thesis oral presentation of this conference. Labthink becomes honored guest of special lecture on IAPRI.
IAPRI is the most authoritative academic society of international packaging, which established in 1971. Some famous universities and packaging scientific research institutes are its members, such as MSU (Michigan State University), RIT (Rochester Institute of Technology) and Fundacion Andaltec. The objective of IAPRI is to improve the whole world’s packaging scientific with global packaging research institutes. It has provided a global only platform of packaging science information and the technical cooperation for packaging research institutes; meanwhile, it also has avoided the academic resources waste of redundant research.
It is a significance activity of IAPRI to organize the conference and hold some selections of related thesis. In view of the fact that Thailand packaging industry’s fast development and its significant position in Asian, the annual meeting of IAPRI will convene in Thailand. At the appointed time, the academia and industries packaging majors from all over the world will get together, to listen to the top expert’s splendid lecture and to share the latest information of the packaging trend.
The packaging examination fundamental research and instrument manufacture aspect’s experience and communication are the important domain of IAPRI research. The article of “The application of DATA-CURVE-FITTING for flexible packaging permeability tests” which submitted by Labthink spends five years to finish. It solved the worldwide arduous problem and obtained the permeability data of material under non-routine condition conveniently. It also reduce the product’s loss which due to different application and test temperature. The thesis issue will be the first time announced in the international packaging domain.
To improve the development of international packaging technique research and communication, Labthink has provided the fund support to this IAPRI annual meeting and became the first economical support from Chinese enterprise.
