In recent days, the first batch of Labthink test instruments successfully reached Iraq capital Baghdad. After commissioning, these instruments work well with stable property. This means that Labthink has come up the hard way and successfully entered Iraqi market.
Because Saddam did not order to burn the oil well during war, Iraqi oil production recovered rapidly after the war ended, which provided strong financial support to the postwar reconstruction of Iraq. The full-scale reconstruction of Iraq needs various resources, among which the packing carton and paper box are especially in shortest supply. Correspondingly, test instruments for such products become best sellers. As the biggest domestic manufacturer of packing test instruments, Labthink found this big market demand and took measures from two aspects. On one hand, Labthink looks for local agents in neighbor countries of Iraq such as Iran, Turkey and Egypt to gradually penetrate Iraqi market. On the other hand, Labthink actively contact domestic agents who are active in Iraq to make use of their wide selling network in thoroughly opening this market
These efforts finally welcomed the order from Iraq AL-FAISAL Corp. But subsequent work was beset with various problems for the reason of Iraq’s war. The sanctions imposed by international society still exist. Iraq is only admitted to pay in T/T form, because of which the customer took five months to remit money. Transportation is another problem after remittance. The flights to Iraq are rare after the prohibition is issued. It is after three months that the customer finally found one transportation firm that is willing to help. Up till then, Labthink products successfully reached the customer after hard efforts for eight months.
The cooperation this time paved the way for Labthink to sell its product to Iraq. At present, further cooperation between Labthink and local Iraqi agent is in negotiation. It is believed that in the near future, there will be more Labthink products appearing in the land of Iraq.
